Course Details:
The race begins in front of the South Tama County High School Building and continues downhill on to the South Tama Rec Trail. There will be a turnaround by the bridge on the rec trail. The course continues toward Tama County E49 and goes on the section of trail that wraps around the STC Elementary School, finishing at the South Tama High School Track.
Dogs, strollers, and wagons are welcome, but bicycles, rollerskates, and skateboards are not.
There will be a water station located in the middle of the main stretch of the trail (about 1.5 miles in) and water, bananas, and granola bars at the finish line.
Awards:
Awards are given to the top overall female and male finishers and the top female and male finishers in the below age groups in the 5K run only.
